A Special Time of Year

Since Alliance opened in March 2012, each year evaporates into the next one blink at a time. I guess I find myself so busy chasing new business and managing old that I forget to take a few minutes to think about "why". Why-in-the-world did my partners and I feel opening a 100% non-proprietary elevator company was a good idea? Looking back, of course we felt like we could better serve the independent elevator market... but more importantly we all wanted to provide a better way of life for our families. Yet with travel, long hours and overall stress of the construction industry it has become so easy to forget the "why" we do it in the first place.

This time of year has a special way to quiet the ring of the cell phone, slow the incoming email and pushback the upcoming start date. Please take advantage of this once a year opportunity to remember "why" you do what you do.
